"This story has fast-paced movement and the dialogue is punchy. The main characters’ acceptance of one another is lovely, but the author does a nice job of balancing that warmth with the mystery of Ella’s origins and a looming threat. Just needs a punctuation polish to help things read more smoothly, but other than that, these first five chapters are an engaging start!"
