The Dream
I was training at base when fintan came in and ordered, "Go to bed." I sighed and headed to my bunk which I shared with Glimmer and Trix. We were probably as close as can be when you are in the Neverseen. Tomorrow, I was turning 12 which is the age where we do a exam to test our limits. This is huge because it determines what kind of missions you do. When I got there, Trix and Glimmer were playing cards. Trix said, "We'll look who finally showed up. I was starting to think you were already on a mission." That got a laugh out of Glimmer and I. That round they were playing had finished and judging by the sound Trix made, he won. I sat down and joined them. We laughed while we played and had fun. 20 minutes later we decided to call it a night. As soon I drifted to sleep I heard my mother's voice. Gosh, it has been 7 years since I heard it in person. She was saying, "Sophie, it is time for supper." I walked into the kitchen and saw my younger sister, Amy, who was 2 years old. My dad look up from the news paper and said, "Soybean, how are you." My dad always had that weird name for me. We ate supper and then I went outside with Amy. We were playing tag when I saw a guy. I know now he was Alvar Vacker. I was staring at him and he noticed. He walked over. The last thing I saw was him grabbing my shoulder and light leaping away.
