Chapter 1 — The Ring
Akwaeno was a university student from a wealthy family.
His father owned a large biotechnology company, and their house was filled with advanced technology.
But Akwaeno was not interested in living a normal rich-kid life.
He loved exploring.
One evening, while looking through an old storage area connected to his father's laboratory, Akwaeno noticed something strange.
A small metallic case was sitting underneath a table.
It had no lock.
Akwaeno picked it up.
Akwaeno: “What's this?”
The moment he touched it—
CLICK.
The case opened.
Inside was a strange ring.
The ring was white, blue, and metallic.
Suddenly, something tiny jumped out.
Akwaeno: “Whoa!”
A tiny creature floated in front of him.
It looked like a small white-and-blue cat.
It had bright eyes, tiny paws, and a long tail.
Akwaeno: “Are you… a cat?”
The creature shook its head.
Margo: “No. I am Margo.”
Akwaeno stepped backward.
Akwaeno: “You can talk?”
Margo smiled.
Margo: “Of course. I am a Senegel.”
Akwaeno looked at the ring.
Akwaeno: “What's a Senegel?”
Margo floated closer.
Margo: “A Senegel is an alien being that can connect with a human holder and give them special abilities.”
Akwaeno stared at him.
Akwaeno: “What kind of ability?”
Margo pointed toward the ring.
Margo: “I am the Senegel of Destruction.”
Akwaeno looked surprised.
Akwaeno: “Destruction?”
Margo nodded.
Margo: “My power is called Chaos.”
Akwaeno carefully picked up the ring.
Akwaeno: “What does it do?”
Margo's expression became serious.
Margo: “Chaos destroys whatever you activate it against. But you must control yourself. Once Chaos begins, you cannot simply stop it.”
Akwaeno looked at the ring again.
Akwaeno: “So how do I use it?”
Margo smiled.
Margo: “Say these words.”
Akwaeno waited.
Margo: “Margo, feline out!”
Akwaeno put the ring on his finger.
He took a breath.
Akwaeno: “Margo, feline out!”
The ring suddenly glowed white.
A blue-and-gold paw symbol appeared in the air.
Akwaeno raised his hand.
A glowing paw appeared over it.
Then—
WHOOSH!
Energy wrapped around his body.
A dark-blue armored collar formed around his neck.
White armor spread across his chest and arms.
Gold lines appeared across the armor.
A large blue paw symbol inside a gold circle appeared on his chest.
His legs became covered in white armor with blue and gold details.
A thick white-and-blue tail with gold markings formed behind him.
Akwaeno touched his face.
A cat-shaped helmet appeared.
Two pointed ears rose from the top.
A dark-blue visor covered his eyes, while his human mouth remained visible.
Finally—
CLANG!
A red-and-blue cybernetic staff appeared in his hand.
Akwaeno looked at himself.
Akwaeno: “What am I?”
Margo's voice came from inside the ring.
Margo: “You are MARGAY-White.”
Akwaeno looked at his new claws.
He smiled.
MARGAY-White: “MARGAY-White…”
He jumped toward the wall.
His claws grabbed it.
He climbed straight up.
Then he jumped backward and landed perfectly.
MARGAY-White: “Whoa!”
He looked toward the ceiling.
His tail moved behind him.
MARGAY-White: “I'm faster… stronger… and more agile.”
Margo spoke again.
Margo: “And remember—Chaos is powerful.”
MARGAY-White looked at his hand.
A faint dark energy appeared around his fingers.
He immediately stopped.
MARGAY-White: “I won't use it until I know exactly what I'm doing.”
Margo smiled.
Margo: “Good.”
But neither of them noticed the tiny security camera watching from the corner of the laboratory.
Somewhere else, someone was watching the footage.
A man's voice whispered:
Unknown Man: “So the ring has finally been activated.”
The screen showed MARGAY-White.
The mysterious man smiled.
Unknown Man: “Interesting.”
The screen went black.
