Chapter 1 — Maryam
Maryam was a thirteen-year-old girl. She was quiet and sensitive, but deep inside she was very strong. She was also confident, wise, and responsible.
Maryam lived with her mother, father, one sister, and younger brother. She loved her family more than anything. She always helped her mother with household work and took care of her younger brother.
Maryam had a special talent for painting. Whenever she picked up a brush, she felt like she could express all her feelings through colors.
She dreamed of showing her talent to the world, even though many people did not understand her dream.
