Chapter 1

Dear Diary,

I am on my way to Morpile, a small city in West Virginia.

You know that I tried all the high schools, and it didn't work. Every time, something bad happened to me. The last time I had a friend, crows attacked us. She was a kind girl, but she understood that everything people said about me was true, so I never saw her again.

At all, dear diary, let's let these memories go.

I am on my way to the city that I insisted on going to for a week with my parents.

Actually, Morpile has always been a dream for me. It is literally a forest, and being near trees is the only place where I don't get hurt by some kind of natural accident.

And with every kilometer we get closer to it, I feel more... something. I feel different. More specific. And maybe a little sad.

“Miss Valter? Wake up, please!”

“Oh…”

I didn't understand what was happening at first. It seemed that I had fallen asleep.

Well, it wasn't a good sleep. I had another nightmare, but this one was much clearer. I think I was talking to myself, but I had a terrible face.

“Oh, my diary… It's under my shoes.”

“Miss Valter, we have arrived.”

I looked outside.

Well, it was just as good as I had dreamed.

A small house between the trees. I could even hear the crows singing.

The driver took my bag, and I stepped out of the car.

Everything looked scary and mysterious.

The sun was hidden behind the trees, and fog surrounded my house.

The air smelled like soil.

And… ah, maybe it was perfect

My Second Chance

kitkatbar29: So this first book in this series I liked. A good plot that flowed well for the most part with some twists along the way, good well developed characters... there are a few technical mistakes, but nothing to harsh. I must say toward the end of the book there were some issues with like a quick change ...

No scent

Kritta_820: I enjoyed the storyline immensely and felt that it devolved from the average "small puny female wolf finds a royal mate." Sometimes the jumps between scenes and plots jumped ahead a little too far for my taste. For example when MC heard the update about her first mate the book suddenly changed to th...

Silver's Second Chance

Maggie Varnum: Like that it was fast paced and suspenseful...loved the romance up ended a little to fast ...would have been better if there was a Luna ceremony chapter and a birth of son with name chapter with Cole as a dramatic dad in the delivery scene .... Overall I enjoyed it very much!

Werewolf Hollow [GALATEA DATE TBA]

hazel_walker: Okay, this chapter was WILD 😭 The whole werewolf system, the FBIDWC, the discrimination, and the fact that Sylvia has been keeping Collin and Dylan’s situation a secret all came together so well. I especially loved the school chaos and Sylvia immediately going into protective-mom mode. And that end...
