# SONAR ECLIPSE

Chapter 1: The Alignment of Destiny

## Scene 1: The Warning from the Sky — 2026

It was the year 2026.

Inside a classroom in Chennai, the geography teacher stood beside the blackboard, drawing a line connecting the Sun, Earth, and several planets. The students listened as she explained an extraordinary astronomical event.

"Students, something remarkable is going to happen in just two days," she announced. "An event that has not occurred for an entire century."

The classroom became silent.

Suddenly, a boy stood up.

"Ma'am, what exactly do you mean by a Sonar Eclipse?"

The teacher turned toward him.

"The Sonar Eclipse is an extremely rare cosmic phenomenon that supposedly occurs once every hundred years. During this event, the planets align in a single line. Even their moons participate in this extraordinary alignment, creating an eclipse unlike anything we have ever witnessed."

She paused and looked at the diagram.

"But there is something that scientists still cannot explain. The celestial bodies appear to maintain this alignment for nearly an entire week. No one knows why they move into the same direction at precisely the same time."

A student raised his hand.

"Ma'am, if all the planets and moons align, isn't that just an ordinary astronomical event? Why are scientists so worried about it?"

The teacher slowly put down her chalk.

"Because, until now, nobody has discovered what causes it—or what happens when the alignment reaches its peak."

For a moment, nobody spoke.

Outside the classroom window, the afternoon Sun shone as usual.

None of the students knew that the answer to their question might already be buried beneath the Earth.

And none of them knew that two young treasure hunters were about to uncover a secret connected to this mysterious event.

## Scene 2: The Lost Secret of Harappa

Meanwhile, somewhere else in Chennai, two close friends were working on an extraordinary invention.

Jay and Sutheep were more than friends. They were partners in adventure, united by their shared fascination with forgotten civilizations, ancient mysteries, and lost treasures.

Jay stood beside a strange machine assembled from electronic components, scanning equipment, and a collection of archaeological maps.

On the machine's display, a series of signals flickered.

"Come on, come on," Jay muttered, adjusting a control. "Give me something useful!"

Sutheep leaned over his shoulder.

"Are you sure this machine can locate the lost treasure of Harappa?"

Jay grinned.

"Trust me. I've checked the historical records, studied the ancient symbols, and calculated the coordinates. If the treasure really exists, this machine will find it."

Suddenly, the screen flashed.

A strange symbol appeared.

Then another.

The machine began printing a sequence of coordinates alongside an unfamiliar astronomical diagram.

Sutheep's smile faded.

"Jay... what is that?"

Jay stared at the display.

The coordinates were connected to the legendary lost treasure of Harappa. But beside them was a message that neither of them had expected to see.

SONAR ECLIPSE — ALIGNMENT CONFIRMED.

Jay stepped back.

"What? That's impossible!"

Sutheep examined the screen more closely.

"Your machine was built to locate buried artefacts. Why is it detecting an astronomical event?"

Jay had no answer.

For the first time since they had begun their treasure hunt, his invention had discovered something that seemed to go beyond archaeology.

And whatever it had detected, it appeared to be connected to the Sonar Eclipse.

Before either friend could investigate further, Jay's phone began ringing.

## Scene 3: The Unexpected Journey

"Hello, Dad?"

Jay listened.

His father's voice sounded serious.

"Jay, we need to travel to Agra. There are some important matters we must settle, and I need you to come with me."

Jay glanced at the machine.

"But, Dad, I can't leave right now! Sutheep and I are close to discovering something important. Our research—"

"This is important too, Jay," his father interrupted. "Please. We need to leave soon."

Jay sighed.

He looked at Sutheep, who was still examining the mysterious message on the screen.

"All right, Dad. I'll come."

He ended the call and turned to his friend.

"Looks like our treasure hunt will have to wait. I'm going to Agra with my father."

Sutheep folded his arms.

"Agra? Just like that? What about the machine? And the coordinates?"

Jay thought for a moment.

Then a smile spread across his face.

"There's one solution. You're coming with me!"

Sutheep raised an eyebrow.

"Did you just invite me on a trip without even asking?"

"You're my best friend. Besides, who else is going to help me solve this mystery?"

Sutheep laughed.

"Fine. But if we end up chasing ghosts in an ancient fort, I'm blaming you."

Jay chuckled.

Neither of them realized how much that joke would come to mean.

Because their journey to Agra was not going to be an ordinary trip.

It was the beginning of something much bigger.

## Scene 4: Someone Is Waiting

Far away from Chennai, beyond the reach of the city's noise and bright lights, darkness covered an abandoned location.

Inside a concealed chamber, an unknown figure stood before a stone pedestal.

On it rested an ancient artefact.

Its surface was covered in strange markings, symbols that appeared to belong to a civilization far older than any known historical record.

The figure slowly reached toward it.

A faint vibration travelled through the chamber.

For an instant, the symbols on the artefact seemed to glow.

The figure stopped.

"So..." a quiet voice whispered. "The alignment has begun."

The figure turned toward a wall covered with astronomical diagrams. Several lines connected the planets, the Sun, and the Moon.

At the centre was a single inscription:

WHEN THE SKY BECOMES ONE, THE FORGOTTEN SHALL AWAKEN.

The figure closed a hand around the artefact.

"Let them search for the treasure. Let them follow the clues."

A pause.

"They have no idea what they are about to awaken."

Outside, the night sky remained calm.

But somewhere beyond the visible stars, the countdown to the Sonar Eclipse had already begun.

Two days remained.

And Jay and Sutheep were heading straight toward the mystery.

My Second Chance

kitkatbar29: So this first book in this series I liked. A good plot that flowed well for the most part with some twists along the way, good well developed characters... there are a few technical mistakes, but nothing to harsh. I must say toward the end of the book there were some issues with like a quick change ...
