VEIL RECORDS: RECORD ONE
Introduction
Just as everyone had a childhood dream, I had one too. I dreamed of living in a big, fancy house with my two children and a husband who was a doctor. Unfortunately, those dreams came crashing down when I discovered that I wasn't like other kids. Apparently, I couldn't afford to dream as wildly as they did.
My name is Sheila Dizsilver, and welcome to my world.
The first rule of the supernatural world was simple: humans were never supposed to know we existed. Vampires ruled the night, werewolves guarded ancient territories, witches wielded forbidden magic, and fallen angels walked among creatures whose names had been erased from history. For centuries, a veil had kept our worlds apart, hiding secrets powerful enough to destroy kingdoms.
But beyond that veil stood an academy where the most dangerous beings in existence were trained, secrets were buried beneath ancient stone, and one forbidden truth threatened to unravel everything.
It was called the Academy Beyond the Veil, and nothing that entered its gates ever remained the same.

School had just resumed, and my parents were more excited than I was. Don't get me wrong; I wasn't resuming as a freshman. I'd already spent two years at the Academy Beyond the Veil, BDV for short, but my parents still couldn't get used to having me around. According to them, I was always a pain in the ass, which, honestly, was probably true .Did I care? Not particularly.
Oops! It seems I forgot to give you a proper introduction to myself. Even though I've already mentioned my name, there's still a little more you should know.
I'm eighteen years old, and I can confidently say that I'm pretty. I've had plenty of crushes since I was eight, but here's the funny part: I wasn't interested in guys alone, nor was I interested in girls alone. I'd come to the conclusion that I could be attracted to both. Funny, right?
However, let me make one thing clear: I have absolutely no interest in being in a relationship.
Now, let's not get distracted from the record. Fast-forward to the moment I arrived at school.
Yeah, yeah, I know I'm supposed to give you a grand and elaborate description of what the Academy Beyond the Veil looks like, but we'll get to that as the story progresses.
Everything about the school looked just as normal as it did on every first day of resumption. You know, the usual principal's speech. And by the way, our principal was a fallen angel. You probably don't know what a fallen angel is either, but you'll find out as we progress. Sorry for all the suspense; I can't help it. We left the school hall and made our way to our various theory chambers, the rooms where we learned theory. They were just like what humans would call classrooms, while what humans called laboratories were known as arcane chambers in our world. Anyway, let's stop the long introduction and get to the real recording.
Our history teacher, Mr. Leonard, entered the classroom as usual, a very boring man with absolutely no interest in fun. “We have a new student among us, and cut the damn introduction, as it won't be necessary. Where is Sheila?” The lazy freak didn't even wait for my response before continuing. “Show her around and give her a little introduction. I won't wait for you, so make it snappy.” Honestly, I wondered why he always acted as though the entire world was working on his schedule, but I kept that thought to myself. We did have a new student, after all. She was light-skinned and pretty, but I still wouldn't say she was prettier than me. I couldn't tell what supernatural powers she possessed either, but I was sure I would find out sooner or later.
I stood up my behind and escort the new girl outside and started the tour
“I'm …..”she would not let me talk as she interrupted
“I know who you are .you are Sheila” she said with a very bright smile and a confident one at that “I have heard a lot about you from the students here” .I tried to hide the fact that I felt so big and popular
“Oh that just makes it easier ,yh I'm Sheila what about you”I asked not even stealing a glance at her as we walk down the hallway
“Seraphina but you can call me Sera” she said but I believe she knew damn well that I wanted her to continue with the damn introduction and not give me a fucking half
“ If I wanted to know your name I would have just checked that in your school file don't you think” I said trying my best not to sound rude but I eventually did
“ohh…ermmn a vampire”
It was no surprise that she was a vampire since 40 percent of the school were vampires 10 were werewolves and the remaining percent were for the other being like fea,fallen angel,elves and the likes that you will probably
come across in the rest of the record
I took her around the school stopping at the library,the dinning and most importantly the dorm .As we walk down the hall I stopped for some introduction “this is Diana,a Fea .Dont mess with them they are pretty aggressive but have cool side,we have the fallen angels…”I was not done but she interrupted again
“I know the Fallen Angels . Those creatures from heaven that defiled the instructions of the creator” she said very confidently but over here we don't refer to them as that coz they all found it offensive . “Don't say that around them . This is starting to get boring, catch up with ya later” I said and walked away
You are probably wondering if I have no friends but I do have a friend and to crown it all I have a very annoying brother in the same school as me.Rochelle was my last year dorm partner and my best friend but she had said due to some circumstances she had to resume late this session which is totally understandable and before I forget to mention she was a kitsune .A specie like the were wolf but instead of turning into a wolf ,they take the form of a nine tailed force .
As the school rules and regulations, every session we are given a new room and a new dorm partner which was probably the only thing I disliked about beyond the veil. I was left in my old room which was not supposed to be but I did not complain as I love it that way. I unpacked my things and was settling in getting ready for this semester drama when the dorm mistress miss Fiona came in with a very familiar figure
“Here is your new dorm partner sheila.you all should have a nice time together”
“Seraphina????.... Holy fuck .I thought it was Rochelle”I said out of disdain for whatever it is that was going on that period
“Well Rochelle as other things to take care of and most importantly other dorm partner to stay with okkk.now get your little behind settled down and show Seraphina some love” miss Fiona said and left the room
