Three months had passed, yet people had simply returned to their own lives. The matter of Green Valley’s mysterious disappearance was slowly being forgotten by everyone. Only during the past month had it become a topic of discussion but in the end, they no longer thought much about it.

Master Yongnian had not even had time to go to the Sky Flame Kingdom because the Cosmic Dragon Institute no longer considered it a priority to spend time on the investigation, especially since they could not interfere in the territory of the Sky Flame Kingdom. Even though Dou City suspected the Sky Flame Kingdom, especially regarding the disappearance of Green Valley, they could not simply draw conclusions and condemn that kingdom. They had found no evidence that would make the Sky Flame Kingdom the main culprit.

The Sky Flame Kingdom was known for its cunning nature but even by their own judgment, they could not simply talk without backing it up with action.

Another matter occupying their attention now was the mysterious movement of the Sky Ice Kingdom. Rumors were spreading about strange activity in their border areas but they were not certain about it. Their attention was now focused more on this matter. It was believed and rumored that the Sky Ice Kingdom was taking steps to strengthen itself.

At the central marketplace of the Sky Flame Kingdom...

“That Sky Ice Kingdom really is shameless. It looks like they are planning another foolish scheme again!” said a woman buying goods in this marketplace.

“They are probably targeting us again. Our goals are already opposed to those ice people!”

“They are truly the only ones always involved in abnormal activity. I just wonder what foolishness they are planning this time!”

“I am sure they took advantage of the news about Green Valley’s disappearance. Ah, that Sky Ice Kingdom really is something!”

“That place is a nest of rebels and bandits. After all, they have the coldest lands, which other traveling martial artists cannot easily explore!”

Their conversation continued. Even in other parts of this kingdom, in the other kingdoms as well, and even in Dou City—many were alarmed by this kind of situation.

If the Ice Kingdom truly was accountable for this matter, then they would face punishment according to the treaty—and even Dou City’s anger would have no countermeasure.

Inside Green Valley...

It was truly a fine day for them. Compared to the past three months, it could be said that there had been a great change in the lives of the clans living there together with their loved ones. Everywhere, everyone could be seen with bright smiles on their faces.

There was no trace of hardship on their faces, only prosperity.
