Jīn Yun looked at him with a demonic smile while tightly gripping his long sword, which was still pointed at the neck of the leader of the White Falcon Gang.

However, he quickly lowered his weapon when he saw his older brother, Jīn Shen, looking at him coldly, clearly displeased with what he and his brother were doing.

The leader of the White Falcon Gang elbowed Jīn Yun in the side, causing him to step back, clearly surprised as he stared at the gang leader walking away.

He saw his younger brother, Jīn Xin, even stick out his tongue because of what he had done. He wanted to hit his youngest brother on the head and teach him a lesson but he could no longer do so. It was difficult to anger Jīn Shen, and if he did, he would only end up looking pitiful.

Jīn Yun stomped toward his brothers before the situation could worsen. Just from the gaze of his older brother, he knew that the pest Jīn Xin would not back down, especially since he had even smirked at him.

He had no choice but to swallow his pride—or he would be the one who ended up in trouble.

“Good that you know your place. I did not expect Boss to assign and send you when there are many others stronger than you, hmmp!” the leader of the White Falcon Gang said without hesitation. He wanted to get back at these brothers, especially Jīn Xin and the hotheaded Jīn Yun.

He also wanted to show them that he would not be easily oppressed by anyone, especially not by people like these Blade Brothers. What did they think they were, lucky? In this mission, he was the leader, and he would be the one to give orders. He wanted to put these Blade Brothers exactly where they belonged.

The entire place was quickly filled with tension after the leader of the White Falcon Gang said those words. An almost deathly silence filled the area. The people present were not fools; they understood the tone and what the leader truly meant when he said it.

Annoyance and anger could be seen in the eyes of Jīn Xin and Jīn Yun as they absorbed the meaning behind the words the leader of the White Falcon Gang wanted to imply.

“You damned bastard, do you really think so highly of yourself? We all know that we are the most suitable experts for this mission! You are going too far with what you are showing!” Jīn Xin said, full of confidence, unable to stop himself from looking down on the damned leader of the White Falcon Gang.

“You really have the nerve to anger us but do you really think he can find anyone like us? We all know that among everyone here, you are the most brainless one. If only you had not let that pest escape, we would not have this problem now,” Jīn Yun said, full of contempt, annoyance evident in his voice. He truly had a problem with the leader of the White Falcon Gang, especially since everything the man did only made their blood boil.

“Is that so? Then let us see your ability to capture that damned being. Do not say I did not warn you,” the leader of the White Falcon Gang said. He truly had not expected them to doubt him like this. He was capable but he knew he could not beat that pest that was out of this world.

The two brothers, Jīn Yun and Jīn Xin, smiled demonically. Just from the way they looked at each other, it was clear that they were thinking of something again.

They looked disdainfully in the direction of the leader of the White Falcon Gang.

“From the way you said that, it only proves that you are extremely weak compared to the opponent who escaped from you. Am I right?” Jīn Yun said sarcastically, clearly wanting to take a jab at what the leader of the White Falcon Gang had said.

“That fool really is weak, Elder Brother Jīn Yun. You said it! Would that pest we are supposed to find have escaped if he had the ability to kill him?” Jīn Xin said, full of contempt, clearly unwilling to lose face before a weak being like the leader of this small gang. If this man were not famous within Chengdu Village, he would not even be worth speaking to, and cooperating with him on a mission would not be necessary at all.

What was the value of that being who escaped? They did not even have much information about him. They were merely ordered to hunt him down, without even receiving many descriptions of why they wanted him captured so badly.

Are you sure you will help with this mission or will you merely become a burden?!” the leader of the White Falcon Gang said, unable to stop himself from rebuking these complaining brothers. The brothers, Jīn Yun and Jīn Xin, were about to speak again because the leader of the White Falcon Gang had looked down on them but they saw their older brother, Jīn Shen, smirk coldly at them. They knew he was not pleased with what they were doing, especially concerning this matter.

They had no choice but to fall silent so they would not anger their older brother any further. After all, he was the one leading them, especially in the missions they accepted.

Jīn Shen quickly looked toward the leader of the White Falcon Gang and spoke at once.

“Please forgive my brothers. Can we begin now?” Jīn Shen said seriously, staring intently at the leader of the White Falcon Gang.

He did not care about the personal lives of others. He was here because of the mission he had accepted. All he wanted was the money and to do what had been assigned to them.

The leader of the White Falcon Gang simply nodded without hesitation. He had no choice but to cooperate with the Blade Brothers, or he would also be the one placed in a bad position before their boss.

His assumption was correct: the only sensible one among these siblings was their leader, Jīn Shen.

He only saw the retreating figures of the three Jīn brothers as they quickly moved toward the direction of the path leading into the dense forest of the Disenchanting Forest. The other experts who had been sent as additional manpower also quickly followed, ready to search the overgrown area where the being they wanted to pursue and capture completely might be hiding.

The group of the White Falcon Gang also walked into the dense forest, along with the other martial arts experts, so they could finally begin the mission they had accepted.
