“They will be here soon! Take her and run away!” the man whispered,
“But what about you!?” The woman, whom I assume is his wife, asked in a very trembling voice.
“There is no time to-” he was about to complete, but two big men stood in front of them.
"BELLA! RUN!! TAKE ANNA AWAY!!” the man screamed and Bella started to take off with the one girl, with dark brown hair.
“Not too fast, my friend” the unknown huge man said and took out his gun.
He aimed it towards the woman and the girl she was running with. He pulled the trigger and BANG! The woman instantly falls on the ground and soon her body became lifeless. After a minute, her lifeless body soon changes into black ashes and I could see her soul rising above and leaving the world of monsters.
“NO! ANNA! RUN!” the husband of the dead wife, screamed while the intimidating huge man started laughing loudly and aimed his gun towards the little girl who was sitting next to her mother and trying to wake her up.
“Bye bye little one” whispered the intimidating huge man, giving a wicked smile.
“NO!” the captured man screamed but it was too late. He already pulled the trigger and immediately the girl copied her mother, falling on her. Her body also soon changes into black ashes.
“No!” Screamed the lonely man in anger and sadness.
“You heartless monster!” He screamed at the huge man, while letting out a sob.
“Tsk Tsk, Daniel” he said in sympathy, “don’t have anyone left, do you?” he whisper to him into his ear.
“You know you are weak” Daniel said, while his nose starts to bleed and smirks at the huge man.
“Weak? Me?” he scoffed, “I am the God of power and strength” he said, proudly.
The huge man opens his arms and faced towards the sky. Its dark and the only light coming were from the moon and the stars which were shining bright in the sky. He starts shining brightly, as he starts to get lifted up a bit.
“Look at me! Look at me you traitor! I am the God of power and strength!” he said and started laughing but what the captured man did next surprised him the most.
Daniel started laughing and shook his head as he did so. The huge man furiously dragged Daniel by his hair and pulled Daniel’s face closer to the evil man’s face.
“It’s your time to leave” he said and looked into the lonely man’s eyes. Daniel’s eyes radiated something but that didn’t matter, because mere and simple creature’s eyes doesn’t affect the evil, heartless man.
The heartless man’s eyes were the mixture of green and black. His eyes were filled with emptiness and rage.
The heartless man makes the captured man sit down on his knees while he starts laughing.
“It’s time” the heartless man said,
“YOU WILL SOON HAVE A WEAKNESS YOU HEARTLESS MONSTER!” he said and started laughing.
The heartless man made him bend a little, and took out his wand. He reads out the spell to himself while his power and strength radiated from both his wand and him. The whole forest blast into a ball of light while he killed the captured man.
But before he left the world of monster, I didn’t miss what he whispered.
“Soon, Harry” is all the now dead man said.
I woke up with a huge bolt and out of breath.
Calm down Em, it was just a dream, I say to myself every night when I see the same dream every night about this guy Harry.
The small girl in it looked exactly like me but her name was Anna, while my name is Emily. Her hair colour and mine is different but we look so similar!
“Emy! Dear!” my mum calls out from downstairs,
“Yes mum!?” I shouted back,
“Get ready dear, you have school today, remember?” she reminded,
Shit! School! I forgot. I quickly get up and head to the washroom. After my shower and all I dressed up and went downstairs.
“I bet you forgot that today is the first day of your last high school year.” my mum said and chuckled lightly. I roll my eyes in response.
I take the cheese sandwich my mum prepared for me and take huge bites.
“Eat slowly” my mother scolded with a scowl.
“Yo! Best friend! Come out!” someone shouted from outside as well as honking impatiently.
“And, that’s my queue to leave” I said and kissed mum’s cheek and left.
I walked outside and saw the black matted range rover. Sitting inside is my crazy best friend, Meghan.
“Dude! Calm down!” I screamed along with the honk.
“You are late!” she exclaimed,
“I forgot” I said, sheepishly smiling while we hug each other.
She starts driving and turns on the radio. From the radio blasts the song Closer, by Chainsmokers.
“Oh my god! I am so excited!” She squeals and I roll my eyes in response.
“I am so happy that I will finally be done with school!”
“I know right!” I squeal along with her.
When we reached the huge school of ours, we got down of the car and started walking towards the building.
“What do you have the first period?” Meg asks me,
“Umm wait, let me check” I take out my phone and look at the schedule of mine.
“I have music” I said looking at my schedule and looked back at her.
“Oh, I have bio” she stated sadly,
“It’s okay Meg, we will have the same class once or twice” I said, smiling at her.
Suddenly we both let out a shriek as someone approaches us out of blue.
“God dammit Ryan! What the fuck were you thinking!?” Meg angrily exclaimed,
Ryan starts laughing and behind him comes Joe.
“Your expression was priceless” Ryan said in between his laughs,
“Yeah, that’s why I took a picture and going to sell them” Joe said, and we both glare at him.
“Fuck you” I said, and rushed inside the building as the bell rang.
I hug Meg good bye and get to my class. I glare at Ryan as we walk to our music class.
“Hey, I am sorry” he said, while his blue eyes dive into my brown ones.
“It’s not okay!” I said,
“C’mon, I will give you a chocolate tomorrow” he said, and he knows my weak spot but I glare at him.
“Won’t fall for it” I said as we reached the music room.
“Okay three chocolates, is it fine?” he said and I glared at him but his smile was so charming that I had to smile back and nod my head.
“Aww, you are so easy to handle” he cooed, pinching my cheek and I swatted it away,
“Dude, no one’s allowed to touch my cheek” I said, and sat down on my seat while he sat behind me.
I have gone through the whole three periods and now its break time. I put my books inside my locker and place the next period’s books inside my bag and head towards the washroom.
Suddenly my phone buzzed from my pocket and I took it out.
“Where are you!?” Meg messaged and I quickly sent her a text.
I reached the washroom and went into a stall. After I’ve done my business I was zipping my pant’s zipper that’s when I heard the washroom door open.
“Did you listen so the news?” a girl with squeaky voice said,
“Ah, yeah! Jaden Smith is coming to the town right?” another girl with a very sweet voice said and I was about to open my stall door but what she said next stopped me.
“No you dummy! The news of them coming back” The squeaky voiced girl said, emphasising them as if she didn’t wanted to tell their name.
“Oh, that Har-” but the girl with sweet voice was cut off,
“Shh, don’t say their name aloud” The squeaky voiced girl warned,
“C’mon it’s not like they can hear through walls” the girl with sweet voice said,
“Rumours have been going around they have dark magic” squeaky said,
“Well rumours are rumours” sweety said,
After a short silence, sweety suddenly spoke up.
“Okay, let’s go! Our guys are waiting for us!” and I could hear the sound of their heels clicking away.
I slowly open the stall door and look around. No one’s here so I quickly get out of the washroom.
I was rushing towards the cafeteria until I bumped onto someone.
“Sorry” the unknown guy said, his voice is so deep!
I looked at who is it, but I am only looking at his back as he walked away.
I quickly go to the cafeteria and surprisingly it’s dead quiet and everyone turned to look at me as if I am an alien from another planet. This gives me chills in my whole body.
I look around the whole cafeteria and spot my group immediately. I quickly and quietly walk towards them. I sit beside Meg, and nudge her by the shoulder.
“What’s wrong?” I asked in a hushed voice,
I can sense my group getting tensed and looked at each other.
“They are back” Ryan said, darkly.
“Who?” I asked,
“The Dark Souls” Joe said, and the name itself caused me to shiver in fear.
