Summary

| 18+ | BL • Omegaverse • Fantasy Romance | Prince Caelan Aveloire has always known that one day, he would marry. As an omega of Varethea's royal family, his future has been shaped by duty since birth. Marriage does not frighten him, nor does the thought of love or the family he hopes to have one day. What Caelan fears is reaching that future without ever having been allowed to choose it for himself. At the annual Midwinter Masquerade, surrounded by noblemen far too interested in becoming his future husband, Caelan slips away from the ballroom in search of a moment alone. Instead, he encounters a stranger in a black mask who neither bows to him nor offers his name, yet looks at Caelan with the unsettling familiarity of someone who has known him before. Their encounter should have ended with the masquerade. Instead, it draws Caelan toward questions no one at court seems willing to answer and memories he does not even realize he has lost. Behind the polished walls of the royal court, secrets have been buried for years. Somewhere among them lies a promise made long ago between two people. Caelan no longer remembers making it, but someone else has never forgotten. Sometimes, the person we forget is the one who never forgot us.

Hi and welcome to When Winter Remembers Us ♡

This is the first story I’m publishing as DAM — Dreams After Midnight, and I’m so excited to finally share it with you.

When Winter Remembers Us is an adult BL fantasy romance set in an Omegaverse world, with royalty, forgotten memories, jealousy, mystery, romance, spice, pregnancy and family.

At its heart, it’s a story about choosing your own future and finding someone who remembers the parts of you that even you have forgotten.

A few things before we begin:

All romantic characters are adults.

The story contains Omegaverse dynamics, mature and sexual content, pregnancy/Mpreg, violence and political intrigue. Additional content warnings will be added when needed.

This is an ongoing story, with a new chapter every Monday and a new Author’s Note every Sunday before each tenth Chapter.
