The World
The most basic World is divided into three basic levels.
The higher class, where the most flawless people reign. The middle class, where the majority of humanity reigns in their average lives. And the lower class, where the poor struggle to get through their meager lives, questioning their existence altogether.
That was the World up to the 5000's. Now, in the year of 7800, the humanity reign has differed slightly. Now they, the Higher Ups, most commonly called The Dix, French for The Ten; for the ten elders that govern the World, create the rules to the humanity of the entire world.
The classes have differed from the usual of high, middle, and lower classes. The Dix, decided that everyone needed to be categorized more specifically than money, created the Gene Law, which came into effect in the mid-6000's, it divided the flawless from the flawed. Brought out the outstanding from the dull, and constantly had the richer Genes tower over the much lesser, and duller, Genes. The Rich Gene and Bland Gene respectively. The middle class Gene, Dull Gene, had more space, and preferred not to get caught in the middle of the previous stated Genes' problematic disputes.
Unlike all those frivolous dystopian novels and series that indicate their humanity of the World being divided up, and being transferred to a new district or obtaining a new age level in their society, the World, where the Gene Law is in effect, does not separate their people according to the Gene Law. Everyone is mixed, but the disputes happen nearly everyday. Families are together, but even then some houses have cases of neglect due to the imperfections that the Law brought to light. Cliques at school, work, and occasions formed around it, creating the latest loners and newer weirdos, completely re-defining their definitions.
Even rumors grow around the Law, sounding even harsher than the ones back in the 2000's. However they are much informative than the 2000's, and sometimes even hold true.
This is the type of World that I found myself reborn in.
