" Hey baby,” I said with a bright smile. Jason turned to face me and gave me a cute smile. “Hello, my Angel. I thought I would make some dinner today.”

” I was planning to cook, I was so ready for it, but it is fine.” I walked up to him and planted my lips on his. I have been kissing him for such a long time, but it always felt new to me. I let go and then went to sit on the chairs by the kitchen counters. “How was your day?”

" It was good, I even came home with some of my mother’s stuff.”

“Where are the stuff?”

“I left them in the car, I will get them later on or something.” Jason placed a glass of wine and a bowl of nuts in front of me.” Leonardo will be here tomorrow afternoon.”

“Oh, I see? Did you speak today?”

“Yes, I wanted to confirm a few things with him.”

“Makes sense. How do you feel about seeing your brother after seven years?”

I’m nervous, though, because I do not know what to expect. Is he a drug dealer, a drug addict, an assassin, or a terrorist, I am not sure what to expect.”

“You are freaking out for no reason, Jason. Relax.”

“I will relax after he is here.”

“Your stubbornness annoys me. You are picking Nina up as well.”

“Why? It is too early.”

“Our daughter misses home, she is five, babe.”

“Samsara, you baby Nina.”

“No, I do not, I am loving my little munchkin,” I stated and drank my wine. Jason just looked at me and shook his head, “god, but I love you, Samsara,” he said, and I looked up at my beautiful husband. “God, but I hate you, Jason,” I said and threw a few peanuts at his face. “Okay baby,” he said and blew me a kiss before cooking.
