Prologue
Did you know that most people don’t like different? Don’t like coloring outside the lines? Well, they don’t. That’s why they don’t like me. The girl with curly, dull brown hair. The girl that’s overweight. The girl that wears baggy pants and big shirts. The girl that looks in the distance, in the clouds. Me.
Anything other than the perfect skinny body, and nice skin. The kept hair, and blonde highlights. The good grades and the sports team. Is not normal to the girls of my school. They have expensive touch screen phones, and over fifty contacts. They have expensive clothes and shoes. And yet, they still need more.
Normal girls don’t wear big, ugly, steel-toed boots. Normal girls don’t wear a bunch of old rock band t-shirts. Normal girls don’t hide their bodies. Normal girls hang out with other normal girls, and not a single boy. Normal girls don’t daydream about anime, or movies. Normal girls especially don’t wear blue hoodies, since blue is a masculine color.
To sum things up, I am not normal. Different. And … Hated. I wear big, ugly, steel-toed boots. I wear old rock band t-shirts. I don’t have blonde highlights. I don’t do sports. I don’t have expensive touch screen phones, or over fifty contacts. I don’t get good grades. I don’t have nice skin, or nicely kept hair. I am overweight. And I hide my body with a oversized, blue hoodie.
I also play video games, and chess. I hang out with two guys; Clint and Gabe. Clint is about to graduate, and Gabe hangs out with his other friends once in a while. I also daydream about my recent favorite anime or book, sometimes crossovers. I’m the complete opposite from the normal girls at school. Expectically my fellow freshman girls.
This is my story not theirs. So, I hope you understand my side of the story before you judge others, by how they look or act. I could damage them just like it damaged me…

I am already into it
