"Very interesting plot and well written story. Looking forward to the next chapters. I would recommend the book to advanced and intermediate language students who like the genre, and of course to anyone who likes mysteries. I find the book intriguing and i believe the author's writing style is unusually interesting."

"Great story..great mix of horror and lessons, a lesson told already but very refreshing approach..and still flooded the story with religion."

Keeps you engaged
"What an amazing writer what keeps me intrigued is that the story line could be a true story. People might be able to relate to it. It keeps you wanting to read more from beginning to end !"
The Quill by Paul J. Taylor
"As an avid bookworm, I read many genres and authors. This story grips you from the start and you can't help but want to read it all the way through. It touches on so many basic human emotions - failure, fear, determination, spirituality, and the classic good vs. evil. I may possibly be biased since I am friends with the author (and am also his editor), but I truly believe that if you give it a read, you will really like this story. Great job, my friend - keep writing!"
Intriguing
"Not my normal genre of reading but knowing the author I decided to take a chance and I’m glad I did. The storyline was well developed and held my interest to the end. I’m so proud of you Paul and can’t wait to read more of your work. "
Excellent read!!!!
"I read this story and was so immersed in it. So well written that I felt like I was there watching it all unfold. It really captivated me. Well done Mr. Paul J. Taylor. I really look forward to reading more of your stories. Best of luck with your writings, but you don't need luck because you are very talented!!! Sharon"

"We have 'The Devil's Advocate' at Home"
"I am a massive fan of Faustian deals, so when I saw this book, I thought I would like it. It started off pretty good, but it really fell off 1/3 of the way through. The beginning of the story is quite descriptive and immersive, but it goes downhill fast. I don't know if the author has ever heard of 'show, don't tell', but he really needs to take that to heart. The chapters turn into a list of actions rather than an actual story: 'Greyson did this, and then he did that, and then this happened.' None of the other characters really feel like people because we don't get to know them; the author just tells us what they're like and what they do. Amy is so flavorless you could replace her with a cardboard cutout on wheels. This writing style wouldn't be a problem if this were a short story, since short stories are limited on words, but this work is much too long to be only telling instead of showing. Although I'm intrigued by the plot, the storytelling makes it difficult for me to finish it. This may end up on my DNF."
Disturbingly good
"I like this book very much the story is well written and has a great plot. From there mostly for me it is that I had a hard time getting into the book mainly due to the story being somewhat predictable. Then about 2/3 rds of the way through it got way better and the twists and turns began that pulled me into the book. The first 2/3rds of the book took me at least a week of picking it up a d putting it down. The last 120 pages went in a fee hours. Worth reading for sure."
