The aimless meanderings of a wandering man
Who woke to the sun and the desert
With robes dragging behind, never taking a misstep
The light and the sweat on his brow will never blind him
He knew of a city beyond the horizon

A single-mindedness overtaking

A taunting image of the city reaching beyond his grasp

Calmly carrying the unconscious body away

At the top of a tower
Table, chair, bed and the rest
To live quite comfortably here
The moon rose and the night had fallen
'Twas still daytime 'round this pillar
