Prologue: Loose Ends
It laughed. It was a terrible sound. It poured itself into this laugh. It wheezed, and was still.
It manged a few words
"Cut all loose ends... burn them. Hide the Planets. And make sure that there is no...loose...ends..."
It shuddered and went still...
And those terrible things, they turned on...
She was a loose end,
And they would find Her,
And make Her something so evil, that the world would never stand a chance...
Unless She could find Him first...
But He wasn't what She expected...
