I nervously fidgetted with my hands while i stood in the office of my new school, waiting for my schedule. I moved here a few weeks ago and was not planning on going to a public school, seeing as i have been homeschooled my whole life, however, my parents thought it would be good for me to finally experience real everyday social interaction. Ofcouse, this was all decided half way through the first semester of my senior year so lets just say, im less than enthusiastic.
The woman working the front desk finally came back and handed me my new schedule along with a small map of the school. Before could ask her any questions, she had disappeared into the teachers lounge. I huffed and left the office to go in search for my locker, 228. I got many stares as i wondered through the halls, looking at every locker number. 215...216...217... I thought about asking someone where my first period was but from the looks people were giving me, i was not going to be greeted with open arms. 226...227...228! Finally, it had felt like eternity since i foud this place.
I quickly shoved my unnecessary stuff into my locker and studied my map, as to find where i was supposed to be going. The bell rang in the middle of me trying to figure all of this out so i had no choice but to guess the direction i was supposed to be going and hope i make it to class on time.
