Story of Flowers

In the center of the city, there is a pond, it is old as time. Nobody knows where does it comes from, or who build it, but it is always there. It is like an old lady view this world coldly, and let her lip form a slight smirk.

It is a rainy night, a weary girl comes to the pond, her name is Emma. She is crying her eyes out, her boyfriend breaks up with her. As she sobbed, she throws a bright red Amaryllis into the pond. It is the last gift from her boyfriend. Emma watches the flower sink in the pond, she smiled coldly for a moment and ran away.

And this story is about the Amaryllis.

When the Amaryllis fall to the bottom of the pond, it disappears in a few strikes of light.

“This pond is full of magic, everything that falls into this pond will get a chance to fulfill a new life,” A voice spine around the bottom of the pond, “and each of them, have a different story. This is why they are destined to fall in this pond, they are destined to be different. No one can see their future because they are as unclear as the forest in the morning mist. “

“Your name is Fire, and you will be different as night is from the day,” another voice starts talking.

Then, everything turns back into quietness.

After few seconds, a girl floated to the surface of the pond. She is an Asian-looking girl, you can tell that by her dark black hair and her tanned skin, she wears a pure red blouse, and a pair of blue jeans. Her black hair spread in the water like a web made by spiders.

The girl opens her eye, which is black as coal.

She hesitated as she feels the new life in her. She opens her mouth, but nothing comes out of it. After serval minutes, she finally said the first sentence of her whole life --

"My name is Fire."

As she stands upon the surface of the pond, she realizes that she can easily walk on the water. She wanders around the little surface of the pond and smiled.

When she saw the land beyond the pond, she hesitated.

"What is beyond?" Fire thought.
