"The Author brings the Reader behind the scenes of building and maintaining an Empire..It combines mystery, fantasty and realism to present a fast paced, page turning, want to get the next stage story...This Reader is on edge, awaiting the next instalments and the finale..While you are given hints that like all feel good stories, good will triumph over evil; it is not a walk in the park. There is tragedy, pain, pathos and loss along the journey.This however, adds motive and realism to the plot..It is also interesting how the usual human characteristics pop up; laziness, bitterness, bigotry, lust for power, megalomania, racial or in this case; interspecies bias, and best of all true love. Nathan, the King, Court has ladies who are actually whores at heart, wanting position for power sake and whores, our Heroine, ( although she was forced into sexual activities against her will and knowledge by the use of several drugs)case in point are Queens at heart, loving people and not wanting power just for the sake of lording it over everyone. As a student of history, several strong Queens came to mind, about two Chinese Empresses ( dont remember the spellings so I dont to want to misquote), Queen Elizabeth the first, Queen Victoria especially relating to the fact that she lost her consort, Prince Albert, and had to rule solo for most of her reign, Queen Isabella of Spain in the time of Christopher Columbus and Catherine the Great of Russia, a powerful leader who had to hold off challenges from external and internal foes to keep the vast Russian Empire together... A great read, would love see more of this Author's work 👍👍👍👍👍👏"
