Prologue
It has been said, God in his great wisdom did some smart things. He made the heavens and earth, the bees, the seas, the skies and the trees. Yes Sir, you would have to admit, those were brilliant accomplishments.
But for some reason, when it came time for him to make man, in a lot of cases he screwed up. Or else, he was tired of the whole creation thing and threw in a few chuckles to break up the monotony.
It has also been noted throughout the ages of time. In the writings of scripture or in the memoirs of great writers such as Keats or Byron. You will always find, in every Hamlet or Village, a sprinkling of humanity like the ones I am going to tell you about.
There are a few things I should try to clarify before you move on. Then you can decide for yourself if you want to continue reading, or throw this in the garbage.
This yarn takes place in the old days. The 1960′s before computers and cell phones. Long before everybody got so smart and technical. Back when we still didn’t have all the answers.
