Chapter 1: An Unexpected Surprise

A/N: I don't own Harry Potter, but this is my twist on the story

Severus Snape was in his quarters when he received a letter from the Albus telling him to come to the HeadMaster's office as soon as possible as he had something important to say to the Potions Master. All Albus did was talked to him for a few minutes and then gave him a letter from Lily to be open when she was no longer alive. Meanwhile Harry and Silas also received a letter from their mother and they were curious as to why they were receiving them now instead of when their parents died and they were left on the doorsteps of their muggle relatives. The twin brothers looked at each other before they were called down by their Uncle to do their chores. They did their chores quickly, so that they were not punished for not getting out of their Uncle's sight fast enough. Severus went back to his quarters where he open his letter from Lily and how it was explaining that he had two sons that were twins and where they were currently living. Harry and Silas went back to their ''room'' and were locked in it again by their Aunt as she didn't want to see either of them. Harry and Silas read their letters from their mom and was surprised to find out that James was not their father. They were wondering who their father was when they heard their Uncle's voice booming loud enough for their Aunt to unlock the door to their ''room" and let them out. Severus saw where his sons came out from underneath the stairs and he frowned as he saw how afraid they were to do something that would get them punish. Severus said," I am taking my sons with me and they are not coming back here ever again." He picked up his sons after they had collected what they wanted including their baby blankets and left to head to his quarters where his children could get settle in. Harry and Silas both fell asleep in their father's arms as Severus apparated to his quarters and laid each boy down in their own bedroom underneath their warm blankets. Severus checked on the boys after he sent a note to Poppy in order to give the twins a checkup after their afternoon the next day before he turned in for the night.

Heika van Walderveen: I had to get used to the style. It’s a lot of switching and getting back into the story of the characters. Also the different timelines were a bit confusing in the beginning. But once you’re used to it, it’s really quite original. The plot is good, but it’s only book 1 (out of 3), but so far so good...

musa moo: Its a sweet story. The writing is very good. The only thing I found wanting was the structurisation. Whenever there was a change in scenario or situation, I wish there was some kind spacing or something to indicate that there's a change ahead. Because of that it became a bit confusing in the middle ...
