"This fast-paced action story grabs you right from the start! I think that perhaps some of the "emotional" responses of the main character were a bit "over-done", and maybe somewhat out of character. Definitely an excellent read despite the numerous typos that were inevitably overlooked in a work of this length."

"Halfway through, I did'nt like it as much as the Allison Rane stories. Not enough action but once it picked up, I repeatadly thought I was back reading an Allison story. She and Dani are almost twin sisters in caractor. The latter half of Midwatch is packed with action and suspense so I really enjoyed it. Based on that and the same writing style as the Allison series, it's 5 stars all around. Great stuff. "

As a retired police officer, I do have a thought to share. Harper and Dani managed to get in more scrapes, brawls and mayhem than any cop I ever knew or any legends I had ever heard of. And I say this after a 30 year career in law enforcement. I hope this is part of a series as I want to learn more about each and every character "
