Prologue
The Autumn Court arrives with no warning.
No announcements declare it, no ravens precede it. It is simply there, waiting at the gates, leaving no time to prepare.
Generations ago, a war raged between the humans of Amarina and the elves of the Summer Realm. Thousands gave their lives in bloody battles that lasted many years. When the humans were all but lost the elves offered them a choice; to allow the elves to choose each new monarch of their kingdoms, or face the extinction of humankind. The humans, not ready to die, agreed to give the elves power over their line of succession and returned to Amarina to rebuild their lives. Since that day, an emissary from the Elven Autumn Court arrives in each human kingdom every generation to choose who they believe is fit to take the throne.
I like the opening. Very fantastical language.

I recently went through your story Dragonborn and I loved it so much. Your writing is amazing, and I kept thinking how cool it would look as a comic.
I really loved the scene in the Prologue where the Autumn Court arrives without warning,no ravens, no proclamations,just appears at the gates, instantly unsettling the entire human court with its silent, ominous presence. That eerie, suspenseful entrance is ideal for making a comic, as the sudden visual of regal figures stepping into a tense courtyard,with characters frozen in surprise,would create dramatic mood, tension, and atmosphere.
I also found the historical flashback in the same Prologue compelling: the long-ago war between humans and elves, and the grave moment when humans surrender their right of succession in exchange for survival. That pivotal visual,somber faces, torn banners, and a weighty elven emissary overseeing the decision,would be ideal for comic adaptation, complete with powerful imagery and emotional depth in a single impactful panel or two.
