Prologue: The Search Ends

“Sir, we just got lucky.”

“Sir” opened his eyes, a little annoyed, still sitting on his meditating gesture. His fierce gaze made the messenger realize that he should have waited for his boss to finish meditation.

He gulped and waited a few seconds hesitating whether he should continue.

But it just made him angrier.

He swiftly pulled a nearby bench and hit on the messenger’s legs hard.

The guy fell down screaming and his nose bumped on the floor, breaking in result.

“I don’t like to be disturbed when I am meditating...” The boss sheepishly whispered near the guy’s ear. “The more of my seconds you waste, the more you make me feel like punishing you. Now, finish your news and scram!”

“We found the boy, sir!” The guy was crying, while trying to wipe his blood crazily.

“Where is he... bring him to me!”

“No sir... I mean...” He quickly stepped back, frightened. “We KNOW where he is.”

The boss looked at him as if trying to turn him into ash with his gaze. “Don’t come to me with your periodic updates – you are not working at a Share Market! Finish the job and then give me the news!”

“Yes sir...” The guy stepped back even more, shaking.

The boss turned away and closed his eyes again. The messenger opened the doors and ran.

While his eyes remain closed, a devilish smile spread through his face.

“And now... I wait.”
