It had been recently discovered that Kasder Enterprises stole DinOlson cloning research. Dr. Irene Dawk, Mindy, and Eric and Sarah Olson tried to find Dr. Isaac Von Kasder in the hopes of stopping him from cloning an army of Nazi zombies.

However, Dr. Isaac Von Kasder sensed they were trying to stop him. So he made his first cloning facility in a place they couldn't get to on time. He didn't plan on cloning the Nazi zombies immediately, however. He wanted some subterfuge to throw his pursuers off his trail.

Dr. Kasder knew that Hurricane Katrina had destroyed a DinOlson aquarium containing prehistoric sea creatures like Mosasaurs, Kronosaurs, Liopleurodon, and Elasmosaurs. These creatures had escaped into the open ocean and were now unaccounted for. Kasder believed he might be able to keep them from overpopulating by cloning a creature that was on DinOlson's prohibited list. This creature was called Megalodon. It was a 50 foot long shark that was thought incorrectly to coexist with Mesozoic sea creatures. In fact, Megalodon came into existence during the late Oligocene epoch, 32 million years later after the dinosaur extinction.

Dr. Isaac Von Kasder wasted no time cloning the giant shark and then releasing it into the open sea.

Dr. Irene Dawk soon found out about it when they witnessed the great Megalodon attack a humpback whale while out searching for their own creatures while aboard the Phil Curry.

"A megalodon?" Eric gasped. "That wasn't cloned by us."

Mindy said, "Then I guess grandpa did it."

Dr. Irene Dawk said, "We've got to kill this monster. The mosasaurs and kronosaurs are one thing for the ocean to deal with, but megalodon is whole other kind of menace. The earth's oceans will not survive if it does. It will kill whales, normal sharks, dolphins, and just about everything else."

Sarah said, "Not to mention our own cloned reptiles."

The megalodon turned south and headed for the Southern Ocean. The Phil Curry followed it. In the cold Antarctic waters, the megalodon was hard to detect. Then the Phil Curry noticed there were Japanese whalers hunting mink whales. The smell of whale blood probably attracted the megalodon.

Later that day, the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society radioed Dr. Irene Dawk. They wanted to know if the crew of the Phil Curry were Japanese whalers.

"No," replied Dr. Dawk. "We're here to kill a vicious super shark recently cloned by an evil Nazi scientist."

"Say again," said Paul Watson, captain of the Steve Irwin. A tone of shock and disbelief was evident in his voice.

"A megalodon," said Dawk. "A prehistoric shark cloned by an evil scientist. It's a species DinOlson has banned from its cloning list."

The crew of the Steve Irwin noticed the DinOlson logo on the side of the Phil Curry.

Paul Watson then said, "A megalodon? In Antarctic waters?"

"It's probably big enough to withstand the cold," said Irene Dawk. "The Japanese whalers probably attracted it while they were hunting. One thing I know about megalodon is that whales is its favorite food. So what do you say, Paul?" she continued. "Will you keep an eye out for this monster so we can kill it?"

Dr. Irene Dawk was concerned that Watson was to enamored of sea life and possibly not sane enough to see the danger in allowing megalodon to live.

"We'll think about it," replied Paul Watson.

Eric said, "This is why I hate sharks. Shark enthusiasts respect them so much even though they're the biggest terror of the deep."

Mindy Kasder then said, "And some people say I'm the crazy one."

The Phil Curry continued its search for the shark. Suddenly the ship's radar detected the beast near the Yushan Maru, which was about to attack some Mink whales.

"I think they're going to get more than what they bargained for," said Sarah.

Richard said, "This is not going to be pretty."

The Yushan Maru harpooned a Mink whale, which struggled to escape. The megalodon attacked the whale from below and grabbed on to it with its gigantic teeth. It began to drag the ship along with its harpoon. The harpoon flew out of the mouth of the megalodon after it had consumed the whale. The whiplash sent the whaling ship keeling back and forth and several crew members were flown off the deck into the freezing ocean. The megalodon added them to its meal and the shocked crew members fired up the engines to get out of there as quickly as possible.

"Judging from how that played out," said Mindy, "I'm pretty sure the environmentalists won't be able to kill this mega-shark."

"After that episode," said Irene, "They'll see it as a biological deterrent for anyone else wanting to whale here. They probably naively believe Megalodon will become eventually a good citizen of the ocean."

Eric said, "Why don't we put megalodon against a pack of mosasaurs and see who wins. Mosasaurs grew just as big as that thing and had a bite force just as powerful as T-Rex. It hunted in groups like T-Rex, too. That way, the environmentalists will accept the death of the Megalodon considering it was not attacked by human means."

Dr. Irene Dawk agreed with this. "I guess we'll have to wait until it gets to the Tylosaurs' territory and hope for the best."
