Just Numbers

Each thing I do matters, as I was thrown into a competition that I never agreed to.

We say we're reforming, but no one's doing a damn thing about it.

Nobody's trying to see us for ourselves.

Instead just of a bunch of numbers that I cannot understand.

We can't do anything we want, unless it's good for our application.

If you can't play sports, good luck getting into a good college.

Everyone's asking me what my life will look like in the future, as if I can see myself in 20 years.

Because if I look at myself in 20 years, I'll still see the same problem that I'm looking at right now.

Nobody cares about teenage well-being.

Nobody cares about teenage mental health.

Nobody cares who you are on the inside, because to them, you're just numbers.
