What is your opinion?
Absolutely incredible!
"I'm a sucker for westerns as it is, but combining spooky supernatural elements with it? That makes the concept, for me, ten times better! This could easily be the prologue to a far bigger, more complex story, and it honestly left me wanting to know more. All the while I was reading this, I wanted to know more. The author has a way of creating tantalising morsels within this that create so many possibilities for which way the story might go. I enjoyed seeing through Scarlett's eyes, I found her occupation especially interesting. I also enjoyed the mentions of minor characters, it made the story all the more believable. I was even holding my breath towards the end! Congratulations on your amazing writing!"
A Dark and Mysterious Read.
"I really enjoyed this story, it was well written and had me gripped from the start. I was intrigued and wanted to know who this shady character was from the beginning. I thought The Immortal Man was well written and flowed perfectly as the plot continued. I would love to see this story developed as it has the potential to be a book or novella. Favourite Quote : " "Scotch straight up," said a voice as deep as the gold mines she'd heard of on the West Coast. " The author has the ability to write and capture an audience, a talent that should not be ignored."
AWESOME!
"Okay, this is going to make me sound like a little boy, but that was amazing! You really have a talent for writing. Even after I'd walked away from the screen, I felt like I was in the west! The way you centred the story around Scarlett, giving her life, even if she clearly wasn't the main gear in the machine. You honestly didn't make her one of these flat, dead critters that litter the story world whose only purposes is to relay information. Job, really well done."
Great start
"You've got a great knack for making characters real and engaging from the start. This needs just a bit of polish regarding spelling - "brother's and sister's" should not be possessive, but plural - "brothers and sisters" - use "wanton" for the prostitute instead of "wonton" (which is actually "won ton" - a Chinese dumpling) - if you can copy and paste this into a Word file, you'll catch those mice quickly and you can polish those distractions out of your story. When's the next chapter coming? I'd love to read more."
