Prologue
I never imagined my end like this, the horrid thought of dying losing everything you’ve worked for, everyone you’ve ever known.
I find myself falling into deep water, the water so cold feels like a thousand needles piercing through my skin. I let the water find its way into my lungs as I continually sank descending into an absolute darkness, my essence slowly being drained from me.
a bright light appear before my eyes, in its radiance, an extraordinary being swimming towards me an angel perhaps, and then it all went dark.
“Do you believe in fate Nathan?”
“No, I don’t.”
“Why?”
“Because I don’t like the idea that I’m not in control of my own life.”
Wow, those few lines were very potent.
