"This is a very well written, extremely enjoyable book. The world is explained enough that you don't question its intricacies but not so much as to become boring. The characters are lovable and have depth that is maintained throughout the story. The plot provides just enough action, romance, and intrigue that I easily finished the whole thing in one sitting as I couldn't put it down. Thoroughly recommend if you enjoy romance, sci-fi, or superheroes. It's always nice to find a gem on apps like this one."

"The characters are so real they seem to leap off the page. The abilities are all unique and all have their own quirks much like the person that bares them. I love how the main character grows from being closed off about his past life and scars to being able to share the dark and experience the light with his new man."

"This was a great story; I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. I liked the plot because I enjoy superhero-esque stories. The story was easy to get into and understand. The characters were relatable. I appreciated that the abuse scenes were not gratuitous and were used sparingly. I liked the counterpart incorporation. There were some minor misspellings, but nothing that detracted from the story. It would be cool if there were some group training scenes or something along those lines for the Nebula team, as I am still confused with what some of the characters' abilities are, such as the one (I am blanking on the name) who works for NASA and majored in "astrology" (I am assuming that this should be astronomy), Overall, this was a great read and one I would be willing to re-read."

Beautifully Innovative
"Nothing about this story is boring or bland or uninteresting. I usually am a person who likes reading quick stories when it comes to online work but the writing of this author made me stop and appreciate every sentence and every word. Each of the characters in this story has a story to tell and are nothing but beautifully developed. The story is about our MC, Lake, who gets accepted into the League which happens to be your modern day Justice League but is so much more. In this alternate universe, people are enhanced and have powers. Some are trained and are accepted into the League and Lake is one of them. However, there are many enhanced who cause havoc and it is them that the League fights and brings under control. The MC Lake is personally my favorite character in this story, as I believe good main characters are so hard to come by these days. He is brave, been through a lot of crap but is a survivor and a protector. The way he deals with situations is also something that is so realistic and believable. Rowan too unlike most love interests these days, does not fall under the stereotypical bad boy trope. (And I'm extremely glad about that) He has his baggage but he doesn't act like a douche because of it. All the other characters are so far from the usual 2-dimensional characters we see lot often but are instead perfectly developed and are consistent throughout the story. I extremely extremely enjoyed this story and wish to see a day when this story could be published and accessible to a wider audience. Kudos to the author!"
