Ancient Enemies Future Heroes

As the team arrived back at their base they see a military hummer sitting in the hangar of the base and a familiar figure standing there waiting for them to land. It is their former teammate and current marine, Grim.

CJ lands the NOMAD and the team exits and greets their comrade in arms.

Spellbinder said “Well there is a Wanker we haven’t seen since our last quest. I hope you have been well.”

Grim said “Glad to see you also and I may have a new quest for you.”

Powerhouse walks over from the NOMAD and said “So it sounds like you’re not here just to visit.”

Grim said “Afraid not. I have important information to go over with the team.”

Spitfire said “Nice t see you again Grim.” as Jax ran over to greet him.

Aquarius then exits with their new teammate and said “Say hello to our new friend Yeti.”

Grim said “I am glad you found him. His father was a hero.”

CJ said “We have showed him what his father did. He is very proud. He then walked over to Grim and shook his hand. “Hello there ol’ friend.”

Grim said “Good to see you too little buddy. Sorry it can’t be on better terms, but I have some important mission objectives that my Marines are working on and I would like Infectus Phytor to be involved”.

CJ said “Give us 15 minutes to get Yeti settled into his room and into his new environment and we will all meet.”

Powerhouse and Aquarius take Yeti to his dad’s old room. The big nest from tree limbs and brush is still there. Yeti recognizes his dad’s work He sniffs the air and can still smell his dad’s scent in the room. There is a picture hanging on the wall of a team photo. He sees his standing there with the rest of the new friends he has just made.

Powerhouse said “Sorry to rush you big fella, but we gotta go meet up with Grim and the rest of the team.” as he motions with his hand to follow him.

Aquarius reaches over and grabs Yeti’s hand and Powerhouse leads then to meet up with the rest of the team to see what Grim has in store for them.

As the rest of the team gathered in the main living area Grim hooks his laptop up to the big screen TV on the wall and a photo of a snowy landscape appears and in the middle is what looks like a pyramid covered in snow. The shape is very definite though.

Grim said “This is where my marines and I were ambushed before CJ and I assembly Infectus Phytor. Inside this Pyramid is where we first encountered the Tall Grey Aliens and they attacked and killed some very good men. My Marines and I are going back and are better prepared this time, but we want Infectus Phytor there to back us up just in case.”

Powerhouse said “We just took out a huge pyramid on Atlantis with an army of Aliens. A handful of aliens in a Pyramid should be no problem.”

Grim said “Don’t be so fast there Powerhouse. This pyramid sits in Antarctica and there is a history there most don’t know about.”

Grim goes on to tell the team that there are 2 maps. The Oronteus Finaeus map made in 1531 and the Piri Reis Map from 1513. Both show Antarctica free of ice and have been proven accurate by the military.

Grim said “We are going to use them for guidance to what is under the ice.

Powerhouse said” Whoa now, didn’t Columbus just find American in 1492 and didn’t most of society think the world was flat back then?”

Grim said “Yes. That is the influence these Aliens have had on our history. They have tried to hide the truth and bury the past. The big danger is that Antarctica has been pretty much left alone, an easy place to hide and have a base undisturbed.

He goes on and fills the team in about some lesser known history of Antarctica and why it could be so dangerous. In 1947 Admiral Richard Byrd was in charge of a mission named Operation High Jump which had 3500 hundred marines on it. During WWII there were stories of Nazi Germany and the Third Reich started a base called Charite Anlage which later became known as Station 211 near the Muhlig-Hofmann Mts near the South Pole. After the Allies did a headcount after the war they figured close to 250,000 Germans were missing. Combined with reports of U-boat and other German ship sightings before and during the war near Antarctica the US decided to send Admiral Byrd there. They headed near Lake Vostok on reports that some ruins from the prehistoric city of Kadath had been found and that 70 degree temperatures were reported. The underground city reportedly is heated by volcanic vents. It would be a perfect place to hide from the world.

Operation High Jump reported returned from their mission early on reports they encountered a civilization that was Nazi in nature but had alien technology assisting them. The combined forces were more than the Marines were ready for. They returned and orders were to not return.

CJ said “My dad told me that he thought the Nazi regime was working with Aliens. It was a plan that the aliens had and could eliminate a lot of humans and have humans do it for them. They were the puppet masters.”

Grim said “In trade the Aliens helped them set up a civilization in Antarctica.”

Spitfire said “So besides Aliens we could be fighting the next generation of the Nazi army?”

Grim said “We are not sure what to expect. A lot is rumor, but behind ever rumor is some truth. We want to go to the Pyramid and do a little research before we attack at all.”

Spellbinder said “Do you think this is where the surviving aliens from the Atlantis battle went to?”

Grim said “We believe many of them did, yes.”

Aquarius said “I wish we had Wavelength with us. His suit and gadgets could detect danger before it was on us. We could know where they are before they know we are there.”

Grim said “Glad you mentioned him. I have been in contact with him. Even though he is only a teenager now after time traveling back 30 years from the future, he has been working on his new battle suit and other projects for us. I have been supplying him military grade supplies. He is worried that his memories of the future may fade so he has been working getting all his knowledge written down. He is in school now, but is going to graduate early. His knowledge is beyond what any of his teachers can comprehend. School is boring to him now. It would be like one of us going back to first grade.”

CJ said “So when is this mission going to happen?”

Grim said “The plan is one week from today.”

Powerhouse said “Ha here we come again alien scumbags.”

Right outside the team’s base a small disc craft slowly rose out of the forest surrounding the area. Two short grey aliens look at each other then look at a screen on a control panel. In an alien language one of them says “Did you hear all that?” On the monitor a face appears of their taller grey would be enemy. It is the Alien that posed as a United Nations leader that the team encountered on Atlantis. “Yes I did” he replies. “I will allow you to exist for your continued cooperation.”
