"Betsy and the five avengers will get you for this!"

I watch her on the ground, shaking her fist at Wolfgang of all people. Helga always appeared as our school's angry kid but over the years I have learnt to distinguish her real anger from her usual self. When she is angry, really truly angry, she is one scary image. As grandpa says, it is an unfortunate mistake to anger a woman.

Wolfgang had to push Phoebe of all people.She was studying at a corner, quiet a shy. Helga was next to Rhonda bickering with her. We were all minding ourselves. And then we heard Phoebe's squeal. I turned around and saw Wolfgang holding Phoebe's book high up his head. She tiptoed, trying to get it back. Helga stared at him intensely. Then Wolfgang shoved Phoebe to the ground and tossed her book in the mud.

I had barely blinked in surprise and there she was charging at him. The first punch must have taken him by surprise. At the second charge, he pushed her on the ground.

I watch her in shock as she grits her teeth and with a swift motion she kicks Wolfgang on the sheen. He yaps in pain and he moves his right leg up and then she swiftly kicks him on the other sheen. He falls with a loud 'thump'. Helga shots on top of him. He is furious, we can all see that. He moves his hand to hit her and she leans down and gives him a bite that makes me wince.

The other kids, and I, form a coil around them. Such a spirit this girl has.

"GO HELGA GO!"

I Must Be Mad! Here I am, cheering for the blond girl that calls me football-head since pre-school. Gerald helps Phoebe to her feet and she stares with shock at the fight that started because of her.

"WHAT IS HAPPENING? YOU CRAZY KIDS STARTED A FIGHT AGAIN?" an angry shout echoes in the playground. Principal Warts marches to Helga and Wolfgang. "Miss Pataki…"

Helga shots up with a furious glare. Principle Warts stares at her in mute shock for a couple of seconds before sighing in desperation.

"Miss Pataki, not another fight."

"It's not her fault principal Warts!" I shout unable to stop myself, "Wolfgang pushed Phoebe and tossed her book in the mud."

I hear the other kids murmur under their breadth and principle Warts turns his head to see the book sitting offensively into the pool of mud.

"Ok, both of you in my office now," he announces with a scoff.

Helga starts moving towards the office when Phoebe grasps her hand. She turns around, a glint of anger still in her eyes.

"No worries Phoebs," she says coolly, "Just take the lesson's notes for me and get that book off the mud. I did not stop that pig for nothing."

"Miss Pataki!" Principle Warts exclaims in anger and shock.

"Ok, I apologise to the pigs for insulting them," Helga spats and follows him.

I watch her as she disappears in the building and cannot help but admire her fiery spirit.
