"Was a gripping novel, really enjoyed it. I often find novels of the SFF genres can be very much marmite books. I personally really enjoyed it. Without dragging on too much, it was an engaging read and one I think would appeal to many readers."

"Taren falls in love with the Princess he's guarding, but she's no meek girl. Kylee secretly races on the weekends. Unfortunately, she's to marry another, so they hatch a plan to elope. When the plan fails miserably, Kylee dies, but returns as a ghost in Taren's head. Guided by Kylee and needing to fix his stolen ship, Taren must navigate Hurren's criminal network, but he finds himself drawn to saving the less fortunate. If he can save these others, he might wind up saving himself. Well-crafted story of loss and intrigue. Great action sequences and many heartfelt moments."

Heart of Gold
"This story is quite unique, as are all of this author's stories. The sci-fi elements of this story make for an interesting background. The true nugget of gold in this story is the redefinition of the old tropes like ",life after death" and "criminal with a heart of gold". There is some daunting information to absorb but it is essential to understanding the setting and some of the plot devises. The main characters drive the story with amazing, tender love, comedy and selfless acts. Tarren, has to redefine his morals by stealing what he needs and killing when necessary, but Kylee keeps him from ever truly straying too far from himself, by taking on an unorthodox family of broken people. The healing all these characters find in this story is only through each other's support. I laughed, I cried and I'll do it all over again to see every one of these characters succeed in their own ways."
