Prologue
Amaya Wolff. A feared bad-ass of Palo Alto High School. Mostly because sheโs so damn mysterious, the way sheโs really good at fighting, and her โamazingโ personality. Nobody really knows about her besides for those that were there along the way. That leaves seven lucky people that know about this. Her mom, step-dad, her little brother (Jonah), and the four guys in school that sheโs really tight with.
Thatโs until new kid, Ace Bentley, comes to the school. Nobody gives him the time of day. Thatโs before Amaya gives him a chance and forces her friends to do the same. But does this chance give him the opportunity to uncover the truth about her and if so will he stick around after everything he learns.
Can this change everything for Amaya or will this be something that she just needed.
