New life
A new day started with new unknown feelings. Today I am going to my birthplace. There is the turmoil of my emotions in my heart. I don’t know what will happen tomorrow. For an outsider, I am attending only my cousin’s wedding but it’s only me who knew that now my life is going to change after this trip.
You guys must be thinking what I am talking about, well let me tell you that I am a B.E Computer graduate searching for a white-collar job in MNC. I completed my engineering degree 7 months back in April in Ahmedabad and was given 7 months time to search job in Ahmedabad.
My father was working in Ahmedabad since 1995. After my birth, my mother came to Ahmedabad to stay with Papa. I was 3 months old when I came to Ahmedabad. Ahmedabad welcomed the baby girl of Mangalore with open arms.
Ahmedabad was my home for 21 years. Basically, I am a South Mangalorean girl from the blood. But my habits and likes were of typical Gujarati girl. When I completed my degree Papa told me that I should search job in Mangalore or in Bangalore because Bangalore is known as IT hub.
Everyone thought that it is a good option and my life is set but I was afraid!
Afraid of the judgemental opinions of my relatives and adopting a new culture of Karnataka. Afraid of all the new challenges, afraid that will I ever be able to stand on the expectations of my parents.
