How some of these men and women suffer great losses and still came up tops is just phenomenal. After all, the best cop in the world, is still a human being with feelings that can crach him or her down. Illustrated beautifully in the case with Dani. Extremely well written."

"This story topped your last. I love the Night Watch characters! I agree that the police are way too restricted in doing their jobs. Your writing style is great. Your character and story development is excellent. The ending to this novel is not a good closing. There are too many loose ends. Did Dani make Sargent? What happened with the city council? What was the Chief’s statement to the public? Did anyone try to drag Dani down for the Reid event? So much more that enquirering minds want to know. Thanks for the wonderful escape from the everyday."
