"I read it in one day. Not exaggerating. This was the first gang story that I actually enjoyed and could feel morally right reading while also enjoying the thrill of it. THE PLOT TWISTS WERE INSANE BUT AMAZING. I felt like it flowed really well because it started off as just your standard teenage love story, when it all the sudden twisted into like a West Side Story vibe (minus the tragic ending don't worry my happy-ending-addicts) The writing itself was very well done and as someone who CANNOT STAND grammar errors, I appreciated that this was well edited. Thank you for taking the time to write this story Mikayla and I will definitely be checking out more of your work. Also, thanks for introducing me to Inkitt! "This was really good. Although there were a couple times I didn't understand the sentence because the word to/two/too was spelled wrong, I got it eventually. I think there should be a second book about their last month or so of senior year assuming they are juniors. And then their journey of being all freshmen in college. Overall 10/10, Seriously I always wanted a book just like this. I would always imagine a book of a girl making a bet, or creating a game, and a guy in a gang or Mafia but still in high school. Most Mafia books are of them as adults. Then they would fall in love and the guy secretly knew about the game/bet all along. As well as the kidnapping part. Thank you so, so, SOOOOOO much for making my dream book come true. Also, I know I already said this, but you should really make a second book on it, you are very talented."
