"Officially my top story on Inkitt!!! I loved this so much! So we’ll written. The best plot by far that I’ve come across! I easily fell in love with the characters and felt for them. I wanted to hear more of their stories and see everything unfold. I recommended to friends, will definitely read again, and am so excited to read the next book in this series. Just so glad to find a book that actually reads like a book and not a short story with actual length chapters and that tells in a series so the story keeps going. I’m so immersed ❤️"

"I love how the love Alastair and Isobel is there, no matter what. I love how Alastair never got into the raping he was forced to do repeatedly. I love how bernie and Isobel were friends before all of this, and that he was there to begin with. It was really refreshing to have someone there for her, instead of the usual, 'oh I'm a poor widow without any friends or anyone to support me and love me before a man came into my life' thing. I would recommend this to anyone who is okay with erotic stories and a taste for romance."

"I’m in love with this book. The authors writing is so poetic and the story line is such a relief from the typical cliche, though the ending was cliche. Can’t wait for the next book!"
