"I love how the love Alastair and Isobel is there, no matter what. I love how Alastair never got into the raping he was forced to do repeatedly. I love how bernie and Isobel were friends before all of this, and that he was there to begin with. It was really refreshing to have someone there for her, instead of the usual, 'oh I'm a poor widow without any friends or anyone to support me and love me before a man came into my life' thing. I would recommend this to anyone who is okay with erotic stories and a taste for romance."
