Prologue
Y/N felt a rush of air hit her as her blanket was ripped from her body. Still half asleep, she curled up, wishing the strange feeling of hot air against her face would just go away; a half-second later she realized she wasn’t dreaming. Her eyes shot open to see a dark figure standing at the end of her bed, the blanket clutched in one of his hands.
“Y/N.” Her name came out of his mouth in a low growl and fear immediately crept up her spine as she tried to figure out what was going on. She reached to her left where her lamp sat on her night stand, but just as her fingers brushed the nob of the light switch she felt his hand grip around her ankle and yank her toward him.
She screamed. But for some reason her voice felt muffled and her lungs felt full, the air in the room felt so hot and a continuous rush of air kept hitting her body. The man at the end of the bed continued to pull at her leg, hand climbing higher and settling on her thigh as he pulled her toward him. She fought desperately to escape his grasp, but his grip was stronger than his thin frame implied. “Quit fighting.” He hissed. He didn’t seem the least bit tired from her struggling, but more annoyed as he yanked her off the bed and let her tumble to the floor.
Pain shot up her side when she landed on the pair of heels she had set beside the bed, she let out a sharp breath and tried to crawl away from the man. She felt his hands hook beneath her arms and drag her to her feet. “You’re gonna help me settle a bet.” She struggled against him as he slung her over his shoulder as though she weighed nothing and walked her into a deep darkness in the corner of the room.
“Where are you taking me?”
“Straight to hell.”
The darkness seemed to swallow them whole and for a moment she couldn’t see a thing, although if she could it would have only been his back. His hands gripped her tightly as a loud popping noise erupted, causing her to adjust her hands to cover her ears.
Light slowly encircled them and she felt as though they were falling, and then just as quickly she sensed them landing on the ground. He hoisted her down from over his shoulders and set her on unsteady legs that immediately buckled under her weight.
“What the hell?” Y/N looked up from her spot on the floor to the faces of six men as they gazed at her and her kidnapper with looks of shock and disbelief.
“Yoongi, what the hell have you done?”
