"This is a great story ,I couldn't put it down .At first I had thought this is going to be a mundane tale and kept reading for a lack of anything better .But soon it started to pick up and it got interesting quick.The Storyline & plot good and quite possibly a real life scenario.And a scary one.Good character and Dialog. It should be thought-provoking about human society's way of making millions of people totally dependent upon systems and resources which could (and probably eventually will) break down or become unsustainable for any of multiple reasons. I've thought about the potential adverse consequences of such dependency for most of my life; and this author has done an excellent job of illustrating it with one possible scenario."

"This book is the first book i read on Inkitt, in fact it is the first book in a long time that kept me reading from the start to the very end. I loved the story very much. It is written very well (I am envious). Written as an eye-witness report by a civilized and well-educated British citizen, the description of the struggle of saving humanity in a "survival of the fittest" situation is very realistic and tells a lot more than really is written, by means of typically British understatement. Thus i am inclined to be mild with the author's idea of sparing at least one person of the royal family. For the story that wasn't necessary however... "

"Lively and full of action - never a dull moment! Characters very believable - would like to get to know them better, although this might be difficult with such a big cast. Need to suspend disbelief as to the premise for the story, but I think that's usual for this genre and doesn't make the story any less enjoyable. It is easy to follow and flows well.
