Chapter 1
"Alright Truth or Dare?" Damien asks leaning against his locker. "Truth I don't trust your dares." Jay says shrugging on his bag. "What about you?" He asks. "Dare, I'm no chicken." I say smirking. "Well I'm gonna wipe that smirk off your face when you hear the dare. Well I mean it's more like a bet." Damien says now it's his turn to smirk. "You see that girl with the blonde hair?" He asks. I look over my shoulder to see a plainest girl on the planet, scratch that universe. From what I could see she had long blonde hair, most likely bleached, and that she was for sure shorter then me. "Yeah, what of her?" I ask. "That there is the only girl in this school who's never had a boyfriend, or her first kiss, not to mention her virginity." Jay says. Well that's different I didn't know there was someone like that in our school. "So why does she matter?" I yawn, annoyed that they keep beating around the bush. "If you can get her to fall for you by the time summer is over I can get you back stage passes for Phoenix Hearts." My eyes sharpened. All i had to do was to get one girl to fall for me and i get free back stage passes? "What's the catch?" I ask skeptical. "You have to break her heart in the end and not fall for her. Also if you fail you can't fool around or date any girls for the entire summer." Damien says. "That's all?" "That's all." Jay confirmed. "Piece of cake!" I scoff putting out my hand. Damien shakes my hand sealing the deal. The bell rings "See you fools at lunch" I say tossing my bag over my shoulder. "You're not skipping?" Jay asks. "Nah and you better not either, by the time lunch is over i'll have her wrapped around my finger." I say confidentially. "This better be good than." Damien says rolling his eyes. "Oh it will be. She'll probably be clinging to me before lunch is even over." I smirk.
I see my target get up and leave the cafeteria, I nudge Jay to let him know i'm leaving. Oh this will be good i'll steal her first kiss while i'm at it. "See Zoe you need to be more careful you're always tripping!" Her friend with auburn hair exclaimed. "What if her plan was to fall into his arms all along? You little sneaky fox." Her friend with black hair snickered. "You're completely wrong! Ugh you guys are the worst!" She exclaims. Sounds like they're teasing her about a guy. Does she like someone? If so this might be tricky. I slowed my pace and strolled toward them popping a mint into my mouth. The hallways are crowded so she shouldn't hear me coming. Plus the more people to see her fall for me. I bend down and whisper in her ear. "Hey babe, you look really beautiful today." I say making my voice husky. Before I knew it she spun around and pain shot through my face. The hallways were dead silent I could feel everyone's stares. Did this little bitch just...slap me?!?! I growled and grabbed the hook of her bag and picked her up. "I'm so sorry!" She exclaimed. "You little brat." I mutter. I kick open our club door. "Guess what this brat did?!?" I exclaim dropping her. "From what I seen you got slapped and it was hilarious!" Jay says laughing. "I mean he was being rude and he uh surprised me. Besides I already apologized." She huffed pouting and crossing her arms. "Now I am leaving." She says walking away. "Seems like you're going to have some trouble with her." Damien says smirking. "Maybe but it will be worth it in the end." I say. There's something about her. She's the first girl to slap me and the first to walk away from me without wanting to talk. She's interesting it'll fun to break her sweet little innocent heart. My phone buzzes. "Who is it?" Damien asks. "Dunno." I say checking the message. Dad: Come to my office after school. "It's just dad." I groan. "Okay well we'll see you later." Jay says picking up his stuff and leaving.
