“TaeTae!” Kookie yells. I turn and see him holding a rose. He runs up to me. “Here.”

I giggle. “Aw, thanks Kookie!” I say and held my hands out to receive the pretty red rose. He gently puts it in my cupped hands, and it felt really soft. I couldn’t help but give a boxy smile. “I wuv you Kookie!”

I hug him, and he hugs back. I couldn’t help but breathe in his scent, it felt so welcoming. I shut my eyes tight, hoping he would stay with me forever.

Suddenly, I hear a shout. “Jungkook! Come home now!” A woman’s voice yells. We both turn to see his mother, standing in the doorway of the back door of their house. I didn’t realize we were in the backyard.

“Okay mommy!” He shouts back and looks at me, flashing his cute bunny teeth smile. “I’ll see you tomorrow!”

“Bye!” I say but leaned in and gave him a kiss in the cheek. I pull away to see him blushing. He then runs back to the house. I stare at him and he turns and waves goodbye before closing the door. I smile and walk to the backyard door, leading to a dirt road.

I was still thinking about that kiss I gave him.

Also the fact that the king, my dad, had kicked them out of the land.

I never saw Kookie again.

So I took the place of The Red Prince.
