"This is a book I couldn’t not review, for the conceptualization is masterful, the world setting original and very creative, and the writing style is both immensely peculiar and intriguing. The book with a dystopian feel is drenched in this strange, detached way of laying out the story. To me, the characters were all quite cold and controlled. Not talking about, not even hinting at the sometimes traumatizing experiences they went through. Random and seemingly unimportant, but still ostentatious details mislead you all the time, making you wonder why they are mentioned, as they don’t seem to contribute anything substantial to the story. Some do though and some don’t, keeping the reader on their toes. Certain repetitiveness of daily routines, created on rare occasions intimacy (Uri pulling off the bedsheets), but in most it actually built on the alienation of emotions in general. It all leads to this distinct apathetic vibe, while you as a reader feel and question a million things. Brilliant. 🤩 "

Underground vampire espionage
"When I first started reading I wasn't too into it but after the 2nd or 3rd chapter I was hooked! Definitely worth reading the first few before moving on. A very different take on vampire stories, with a bit of romance, political corruption, espionage, surveillance state, underground operations, and much more. The writing isn't bogged down with too many superfluous details, making it a pleasant read. I read the whole thing in about 7 hours."

"Although this book is written in a third person point of view, I think by adding more of the emotions and feelings of the characters might make it more perfect. Otherwise the plot is great thought out, the book is great. By introducing the feelings of the characters and their thoughts, this book will be perfect 👌👍🏻"

"This book started out great, I was hooked from the first paragraph. I couldn't put it down. I have read three books in this series so far. I am starting my fourth as soon as I'm done writing this review. I recommend you give this book a try, I have no doubt you won't be sucked in as I was. The author is an excellent writer! I was never confused on what was going on, she has never dropped a plot line, and she most definitely does write in circles. I fell in love with the main characters! I hope you enjoy this book as much as I have!"

Brilliant character development
"Characters are well thought out and seem to be in tune with each other. Plot is exciting with twists and turns. Really enjoyable. Writing style is good. There are a few spelling mistakes and sometimes the author writes Natalie instead of Natalia but they are minor details that need to be ironed out. Overall I enjoyed this book!"
