"Even in the beginning there are so many questions and mysteries that you can't help but read on quickly...I list sleep and more than a couple meals wrapped up in my blanket reading. I've read hundreds of books and I have a high standard for what I consider "good" writing. The plot was unique and I enjoyed how well defined the characters were. Astrid had a Disney's Brave feel to her and her background. This would be a great movie! I'd go to the theater to see it and buy it on DVD. I was thinking who would be able to play Astrid's part? Would be super fun to find out..."

"I’m currently at chapter 8 and I’m loving the story so far. I like historical books, and the way the writer is telling the details of the time period, it’s almost like your there. I saw on the authors profile that the end has been removed. I hope that the end will soon be added again. I would like to know how the story ends. Recommendation: Sometimes it’s hard to know in which caracters perspective the story continues. Perhaps the author can put something in between those parts. Makes it easier to read. "
