Bad Groundbridge!

Summary

Black and purple scales writhe in pain. Siiracai freezes, her white eyes turning purple. "I am Purple. We are Siiracai." She cackles. Disclaimer: I do not own Transformers, or any characters other than Siiracai. The Decepticons. The bad guys, the violent deceivers. The guys with severe anger issues. The Autobots. The good guys, the peaceful negotiators. The ones who do good, who never start a fight. Even their normal selves do not even begin to hit these stereotypes. Some stereotypes aren't true. Especially when you say that they are all metal giants. Siiracai is one of the many Decepticons who are sucked into a tainted groundbridge. It dumps them in a new place, with familiar enemies and allies. But is it so familiar? This is a Transformers: Prime fanfiction, including my idea of the Shattered Glass Primeverse and the Dragonformers Primeverse. Four versions of the same world. All in one. Elves and humans, dragons and Cybertronians. Guess it's time to find the truth. (I do not own Transformers: Prime or any characters other than Siiracai. The plot is mine.)

Prologue

“Soundwave, please set up a groundbridge crystal. Siiracai, you know what to do.” Megatron’s deep voice cuts through the clichè silence of the base.

“On it, Boss! Position set and a go!” The long white and orange Surveillance and communications officer, Soundwave, nods and drops a green crystal on the dark gray stones. After a moment, the crystal breaks open and spits out a portal. A groundbridge.

Another dragon with black and silver-gray scales, stalks out of a shadow towards the portal. Her black mask, purple wings, and white eyes are unmistakable. Siiracai. The main spy of the Decepticons. “Understood, sir.” Her voice changes abruptly. ”Shadows... I call to you in my time of need... Reach through and show us the Autobots... Help us protect..."

Her voice drops until it is almost inaudible, causing shadows to ripple and flood into the groundbridge.

Megatron smiles nervously at the female and flicks his tail. The large pale gray dragon is covered in rough scales- and a few scars- , and the end of his tail is a short silver blade. He shuffles his massive wings and throws beautiful red highlights into view.

After a moment, all is quiet. As Megatron cautiously walks towards the portal, it stops glowing. Not abruptly, but slowly. A darkness creeps out from a central point and turns the portal black and purple. A foul wind rushes through the gathered dragons and rips at the wings of the commanders and more noteworthy Decepticons. Siiracai blinks and hisses as her hold on the shadows wavers, and slips through her grasp.

“I have lost control of the shadows. There is something wrong with the portal.” The female’s white eyes narrow and briefly flash purple.

“I suggest snuffing it, Megatron.” Starscream butts in, his long silver wings twitching above him. His diamond shaped snout snaps back in surprise as the portal flashes white. His blue eyes widen in shock, every calculation he made in the past month running through his mind.

Megatron growls faintly in his throat, knowing the energy may break through the shielding around the base. “If something is wrong with it, how well do you suppose a disengagement crystal will snuff it?” He whips his large head towards the lithe seeker.

Starscream examines the portal briefly. “Not very well... I would go to my cave and find a solution, but- Agh!” He ducks, narrowly avoiding Laserbeak’s spiralling form. He shoots a look at Siiracai, whose wings are now folded flat against her back, claws digging into the hard stone floor. The female is darting her snout around, noting that the lower level dragons are mostly untouched by the fell winds. Only three experience the same wind issue as the higher ups.

The other important Decepticons start thrashing around as the portal tries to pull them in. Siiracai snarls loudly and leaps up, snatching Laserbeak out of the air. She holds him gently with one claw and stalks over to Soundwave. The black masked female stays low, even as she passes the small dragon to the communications officer. “Thanks, Sii! Stay flat Beak!” The smaller dragon nods and holds Soundwave’s scales tightly.

Siiracai’s white eyes widen as Starscream’s narrow wings are snapped open by the wind, sending him spiralling through the dark portal. “Starscream!” Megatron howls, concern lacing his voice. Without a thought, the light gray and bright red of his scales vanish after his loyal second. Five small shapes go flying through the portal, frozen in fear.

"Miko!" "Jack!" "Raf!"

The wind picks up immediately, red, blue, white, gray, black, and orange scales swirling together as the affected dragons are swallowed into the portal’s gaping maw after the humans.

As Siiracai’s dark tail is whisked through the portal, the wind dies down. The portal returns to it’s normal color, flashing briefly to show the Autobot’s cave (now empty of all important dragons as well) , before snapping shut with a resounding bang. The remaining dragons freeze, before vanishing in a puff of smoke.
