Summary

Various poems. I like to write romance poems: Valentine's poems Mothers day poems Birthday poems Poetry to me: It allows me to convey my feelings with words. If anyone reads them and likes them, I would like to hear their opinions. I don't read other people's poetry. I don't know why. I would rather read stories, although I know the poems can tell stories as well. Prodigal was first written as a poem. That's why there aspects of it that still rhyme. Another poem, "Will She Say Yes", is written as a story. I hope if you decide to read my poems that you enjoy them. If anyone wants me to write them a poem, just let me know.

Do You Know

Before you disappear

My heart will always want you near

I'll never forget you

Now I'll always feel blue

I was so attracted

That your beauty had me distracted

A beauty that could melt the sun

A spirit that made life fun

Eyes that stole my every breath

Now my happiness is suffocated to death

I should have been the one you see

Holding a diamond and bending a knee

I'll never be the one to kiss away your pain

Or dance and frolic with you in the rain

Do you know, from the depths of my core

No one will ever love you more

An end to my sadness will never be nigh

As I say my final goodbye
