Love Lane

Hey! I am Ezra and I am in 11th grade. Being a teenager and a recent adult I have newfound perspectives on various topics. I think most people at teenage observe things with a neutral vision.... Which is not the case with adults.... They let their affinity for love and hate mask away the obvious things. Most of my aquaintances consider me a geek..... I don’t know why! Its not like I wear spectacles or drown myself in studies all the time.I live in a country called Bambi and monachy still exists here. I have read a lot about democracy and I really want to change this country. This is one of the reasons why I hate this so called “royal family”. My father was a soldier and died in a war. This was the biggest loss of my life and this is also why I hate our government and other reasons are mostly envy. I envy them because they are rich.... They have everything unlike most of the residents of our country, but judging by the amount of hautiness and attitude they have.... it doesn’t look like they are meant to ‘serve’ people.

A have a beautiful mother. I have always seen her by my side. She is the kindest hearted person you will ever meet. I have a best friend, Cam, and only these two people fill all my memories, I remember so far.

Both of us aren’t so popular in our school, and we actually like it. We like to distance ourselves from all the school drama that most girls fantasize about. Also, i have rebellious blood flowing in my body. It’s like I am a volcano..... i can burst at anytime, but Cam is truly a godess. She calms me down like no one else can... and that’s the reason of this beautiful friendship... Like they say - polar opposite attract. And I forgot to mention I have a hobby of fighting. I have learnt 6 different forms of martial arts. So? Stay away from me!

Well, today is the first day of school. I found myself nervous for no reason. Its like my consciousness is calling me out to me.... I don’t know why. I decided to wear a square sleeveless dress and black canvas shoes.

I waited for Cam at the school entrance and observe the student milling inside. This is going to be fun, I hope. That’s when I see her coming out of her car. She waves at me looking as excited as a kid at the ice cream shop. And I wave her back happily.

“You look HOT” she exclaimed.

“But not as sexy as you!”

We walk inside the campus and I sense this excitment in the air. The excitment for a new beginning. It is so apparant that I see every other person smiling.We greeted our friends and talk to them for a minute or two before going forward.

After putting all our books in the locker, we checked our schedule to find our first class to be maths. Ugh! that’s when Cam feels thirsty and asked me to take out her bottle from her bag.Simultaneously, her phone rangs and she signals me to open the bottle.And out of nowhere, a girl bumps into me making my hand jittery. The bottle falls from my hand and when i look up to see her, I noticed her dress is drenched with water. Her face is red, like a tomato. She looks like she is going to burst anytime. I looked up to find a guy marching up to me with the same expression.

I found myself utterly and completely drawn to him. I am spell-bounded. I can hear my heart thumping rapidly. I find myself thinking whether he hears it too? He is the most striking man I have ever seen in my life. His eyes, they look like melting amber. And I have no problem drowning myself in them. My fingers itched to touch those soft curls. His body is stunning, I cannot bring myself to look away. He has me mesmerized. I want him....no I need him to be mine. But I guess the feeling is not mutual.

The girl from earlier looks at him and mumbles something unintelligible in his ear. The glare from his face transforms into a smirk. I don’t feel so good now. He looks evil.But interestingly Cam was pale. But why?

We both looked at each other and she whispered ” oh O!”
