[P]ROLOGUE

There were consequences... dire consequences.

Leaving my daughter behind to a babysitter whom my husband didn't do a background check on... We're coming for you, baby girl. We're coming for you as fast as we can. Hang on tight, my precious.

My phone begins to ring. A dull glance from Matthew gave way. I look at my phone. It was her...

You're going to regret coming back

I gave Matthew a dreary look, worrisome. He instantly knew after locking eyes. He revved his fast lane attribute and I held on for dear life.

BIG MISTAKE

We were supposed to be spending our three-year anniversary for our three day weekend. Our first night barely even ended, our magical night interrupted. He came back from a business trip overseas. I was happy to see him come back. Liz was more excited to see him more than I was. Our anniversary was then ruined.

Tears come flowing a river on my cheeks as I see in front of us our death bed as well as from behind. Behind us were three motorcycles and a helicopter gaining on our tail. There was nowhere to go, but the forest down off the high road somehow sounds safer than this mayhem of a purpose that is about to be in effect. Our death is their purpose, their mission. We should have just forgotten our trip and went somewhere with my baby girl, my precious baby girl.

Liz, my baby...I am so...sorry...

I closed my eyes. Through the darkness, I heard skids and my husband's screams. I scream as well when the crash enveloped us, following by an explosion. My ears hurt as I hear nothing but high pitch ringing. Everywhere hurts, blood wrings from our wounded flesh. I can't move one single muscle as the pain is crucial, not having to see my husband's face nor eyes one last time.

"Pen..Penny..." Matthew struggled, hearing him coughing up blood.

We couldn't do nothing but be still, be barely alive to witness a more disaster way for us to feel the real pain. I hear our final demise. A flame so big, an explosion heard. A familiar sound makes me realize we're actually near our home. It must have gone off the tracks, its trails skidding ever so loudly. Tears made way to the open wound on my cheeks, more pain making me shout. The horn from our home is the last sound disturbing the silence. It sounds..so..very...close...
