I just finished reading Glaring Shadow and I loved it so much. Your writing is brilliant, and I couldn’t stop thinking how powerfully it would translate into a comic or manga.
I was deeply moved by the stream-of-consciousness account of a man who liquidates his immense wealth only to consign it to flames an act that symbolizes both loss and liberation. The contrast of fire and ash, the emotional breakdown and rebirth, would make for stunning visual storytelling, with bold imagery of flames engulfing luxury and ashes drifting into emptiness.
Another striking moment is the emotional arc when tragedy strikes his sense of loss, the darkness suffocating his identity, followed by a gradual reconnection with soul and purpose. These emotional shifts from agony to clarity are ideal for comics, using stark shadowing, expressive close-ups, and a visual journey from despair to redemption
