Prologue
It was Treasure's first day of school and she was not prepared for how her first day of High School was going to go. She and the rest of her family had just moved into their new house about a week ago and still haven't finished unpacking. It was a trouble deciding what to wear considering most of her clothes were still packed away.0
As she got off the bus she immediately had no idea what to do. Treasure felt nervous. Even though she knew some people from middle school was attending the school, she wasn't close to anyone. The one best friend she had moved to another part of the state the year before. She decided to go to the cafeteria and sit their until she found someone that she knew. Realizing that she wasn't ever going to find someone that she recognized, she went towards her locker and ended up in her homeroom.
When she entered, she found kids from middle school in the room and decided to go talk to them. This group of kids ended up being the ones she hung out with in the mornings. Sasha, Yasmine, Rosalinda, Sadina and 2 others were included in this group. Treasure still felt lonely because they only paid attention to her when she was being weird and left her out of most conversations. She didn't tell anyone how she felt due t not wanting to feel like a burden.
Treasure started avoiding everyone in her morning group at all times except for in class. Her grades were superb because that is all she focused on besides reading. Treasure's favorite class happened to be a leadership class. It was a year long class and she made friends with some of the people in the class. The teacher was nice but too extra and hyper at times. And most of the kids were kind the others were not as kind as the others. Overall it was a goo class to start the morning with and prepare her for a good day.
